Finally!

It seems like the weather has finally started to turn around. Bryson enjoys spending time, all his time, playing outside. He's even taken to eating his lunches at the picnic table! Good thing too!

We're back.....

After a long wait we have finally made it back to Michigan! Bryce is STILL obssessed with his boat and being outside. He had fun tubing with mom and dad and riding 'faassttt' on the jet ski. And yet, despite it all the laundry basket was still just as fun!

Happy Birthday Aanya

We got to celebrate Aanya's birthday weekend. She had a lovely party and Bryce and the kids really enjoyed themselves! Aanya got the coolest bubble maker we've ever seen.... it blows bubbles inside of bubbles. We liked it so much we went and bought one for ourselves.

My Little Boy

Well we've been so lucky with Bryson's 'injuries'. These are thankfully minor but we have to laugh 'cuz he's finally looking like a little boy, complete with bumps, scrapes and bruises!

Slide

Thank you Laura!! While Bryson was 'not so interested' in his slide last year, this year it's the coolest toy he's got! He's finally figured out how to climb it himself and he calls the little area underneath his 'tunnel'. He could play with it for hours!

A trip to the zoo...

We went to the zoo... daddy, Mar-Mar and Maya came too! We saw sooo many animals. Bryson's favorite were the elephants and giraffes. He showed us how to be each animal. Did you know there were dinosaurs at the zoo? Bryson was a little unsure of the dino's but we're sure he'll love them even more next time!

A Big Day

Today, Bryson has his first haircut. I'm pretty sure it was more traumatic for me than it was for him. He LOVED 'riding' in the airplane, he sat so still and didn't even mind the clippers. I was shocked at how well this went. He looks like such a little man now!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we took Bryson for the Easter Egg Hunt at Christ Lutheran. We brought Marlene and Maya too! We were shocked at the number of people that turned out and the number of eggs!! (1,200) We watched a short story about the meaning of Easter, collected some special eggs that tell the Easter story and then set the kiddies loose on the lawn! Bryce really got into it and seemed to enjoy picking up the eggs. He liked it even more when he figured out that the eggs had candy and treats inside! He found a Hershey Kiss insode of one and worked sooo hard to open it that I had to let him have a bite!

He's just so darn cute!! Can anyone blame me for no being able to say no to him....ever?!?

Hoooray!!! No more crummy pictures!

While I know the blog is about Bryson, I thought I'd share that with the help of my generous family, I was able to get a BRAND SPANKIN' NEW camera for my birthday (it's a Canon Rebel xSi in case you're interested, 12 mega pixels baby). So, YAY, for no more crummy, blurry pictures!

Can you tell the difference? It's crisp, it's clear and I just took the darn thing out of the box... I don't even know how to use it yet and I feel like everythings already a million times better. And Bryson's thrilled too, can you tell?

**Edited to add that as I am taking these pictures the camera breaks! Can you believe it, a piece came off internally, I had the camera for a day, I took 15 pictures. Neatless to say I got a new one the next day!**
