Happy Birthday Baby Boy!

It's hard to believe that the day has finally arrived. Our little guy is one and quickly leaving babyland behind. He's quite the character and has a great little personality that develops more and more each day. He's been sick for the last few days but that didn't stop me from carrying on my mom's traditional of making his day special in any way I could... So here's my sleepy little 'big boy' and his morning surprises!

PRESENTS!!

At first we were a little worried that Bryson had forgotten how to open presents... he quickly put out fears to rest as he dived (literally) right in to opening his gifts from his Nana and Papa. As you can see he's really enjoyed finding new and exciting ways to play with all his new toys! He's even figured out how to put some of the shapes in the right holes! Yeah for the smarty pants!!Thanks Nana and Papa!

Bryson's Best Buddy Maya!

They were at it again... but now it's even more fun to watch because they can follow each other around the house. After a nice meal together we decides they should go swing. Instead of taking turns they shared.... (I get the feeling we could be sharing these photos at their wedding some day!)

I'm on vacation.....

Here's how Bryson passes the time on vacation..... Chillin' in the big bed with Daddy...
...and loungin' in the hammock giving Mom orders!

Me and my Grammie...

We like to hang out on the swing while everyone else gets to go play in the lake... maybe one day we'll go play in the lake too, when I'm bigger!

Swimming in the "Trippy Pool"

This is the super cool new pool that Grammie and Poppie got Bryson for the cottage... it's got flowers, and really cool mushrooms! Contrary to his facial gestures, Bryson really does enjoy time in the pool!

Bryson's Boat

This is Bryson's boat. Just ask him, "Bryson, where's your boat?" and he'll head to the window to show you. His Grammie and Poppie bought it for him... he needed something safe to ride on in the lake. Bryson has claimed it as his own and often commandeers the very front seat, demanding that his Poppie go faster. He loves exploring all it's nooks and crannies and has already found his sea legs. We did manage to loose a paci overboard, but thankfully that was all! Maybe paci needs a nifty life-vest like Bryson (he's not a big fan but is slowly getting use to it)!
