Hello Nana and Papa!

While visiting Michigan for Labor Day, Bryson got to see his Nana and Papa. He had a good time showing them all his new tricks. He was pretty bummed to see them go...

Bryson's first time....

...in Michigan waters. Despite the frigid water we decided Bryce needed to get use to the lake, so I took him in for a wade in our lake. He wasn't too sure of it at first (it was freezing after all) but he quickly warmed up to the concept and began to even enjoy the sand in between his toes! He was only upset when a wave came by and got his suit wet... I think it was a little too high for comfort. (Check out our little beach bum!)

I'm sorry!

Sorry I've neglected keeping you all up to date!! Bryson and the end of the school year have kept me as busy as can be! Updates coming this weekend... I promise!! (If only I had a face like this, then I bet you would forgive me!)

Late afternoon at the Buckerts

Bryson is becoming quite obsessed with our neighbor's dog and children. Upon waking in the morning he signals towards the window, as if to ask for it to be opened. I more often than not oblige this request where upon Bryson looks to see if the kids or Sadie are outside in the yard (they never are being that Bryson enjoys waking before the sane world chooses to do so). Every naptime wake-up follows this same routine and before bed we must wish Sadie and the kids goodnight.



Sensing this as an opportunity I have taken to putting Bryson in his playpen in the afternoons to give me a few moments to catch up on the days e-mails and such. As long as the shades are open and Bryson can see out he is enthralled with the occasional 'run bys' of both the children and his beloved Sadie. This afternoon he was jabbering out the window so much I had to capture the moment and share it...

His Daddy's Curls

Everybody needs...

...to see a little naked butt every now and then. Bryson's back in his favorite place again, the bathroom! He now enjoys standing, in the buff, waiting for the tub to fill while throwing everything in his reach into the tub! And being the tempermental little guy that he is, when he's done tubbing, he enjoys being wrapped in his ducky towel and given his paci! (Little red butt due to sitting on the potty!)

Not one... but two!

Teeth that is! Oh yes, Bryson is now the proud owner of TWO pearly whites, but boy are they taking forever to come all the way out!! Here he is showing them off!

What's this? Could it be? Is it the small slit that a little bitty tooth may pop out of? I don't know but it's the best we've seen yet! We'll keep you posted!
