Renovations

Bryson and Nathan decided to put up the shelves in Bryson's new room. Who knew 3 shelves could take a whole day to put up! And Bryson was oh so helpful with his little tool set! :)

Atlanta, Monday

On Monday we took all the kiddos to the zoo.

Owen and Bryce loved the little playground, and probably would have been perfectly happy playing there all day!

I love this picture of Bryce! His face just cracks me up.

While the zoo itself didn't impress Bryce so much, he thought the pandas were really cool, it was his first time seeing them! I'm glad he got to have that experience.

After the zoo and a 'not-long-enough' nap we again met up at Matthew and Susan's for dinner with everyone!

The boys played and played and played.

This pretty much sums up Brysons mood by the end of the evening.

Good thing Baby Pearl is so laid back, because Bryson just couldn't leave her alone!

Bryson and Owen ended the long day watching the "Easter Bagel" on the couch together!

Easter in Atlanta

We spent Easter morning playing outside. All the big boys went to play tennis. After naptime, the Easter bunny visited.

Bryson was super excited about his cars, yo-yo and jellybean carrot. He even tried to eat it through the plastic, yum.

Owen got a big 'chocie' bunny. He sure loves chocolate!

Bryson of course needed to get up close and personal with his new cars.

And he tried out his new yo-yo, over and over again.

Bryson even let Owen give it a try. He was pretty enthralled with it as well!

We got the boys to pose for a quick picture right before we had a little Easter egg hunt in the frontyard.

Bryson wasn't so sure what the bag was for, but it made a great hat!

The Easter bunny did a great job hiding the eggs. And each egg had a little surprise for the boys.

They were really excited but the eggs at least kept them busy until Nana and Papa arrived.

The boys finally spotted Uncle Benno bringing Nana and Papa.

Bryce was intent on holding Baby Pearl! I love this picture, his face is priceless!

Atlanta, Friday and Saturday

Friday during the day, we spent some time by the pool and went shopping with Heather, Rob and Baby Pearl. We even got to meet up with Jim and Sherri.

Friday evening we got together with everyone again for pizza. The boys had a fantastic time playing together and we even discovered Bryson may just have his daddy's skill in sports.

Saturday brought more of the same! The boys have so much fun playing together. And Matthew and Susan were so gracious to continue to have us over!

Our Atlanta Trip

Bryson, Nate and I traveled to Atlanta to visit with Nate's family. Bryson was so excited to "re-meet" his cousin Owen and meet baby Pearl that he didn't want to even nap. Thankfully he was so exhausted from our early morning, getting up at 4 to fly down, he napped with no problem in his pack-n-play.

We met up with everyone at a little Mexican restaurant nearby. Bryce and Owen had a great time together.

After dinner we took them to a trail and they ran like crazy boys, getting all their energy out. Bryce also managed to rip up both legs, guess that's a boy for you!

This is the first picture of all three 'Buckert' grand-kids.

Heather and Rob are so lucky! Baby Pearl, as Bryce likes to call her, is so happy! Bryce was of course enthralled with her the entire trip!

A little monkey see, monkey do! There was a lot of this over the span of our visit! :)

Easter Egg Hunt with the Neighbors

Our neighbor Margaret, Michael's mom, was so sweet and hosted a little Easter Egg Hunt for the neighbor kids. It was so much fun and for the first time since they were born, we were able to get a picture of the 4 kids. So above, from left to right, it's Aanya, Maya, Bryce and Michael.

Big Boy Bed

We finally got Bryson's bed set up and he's decided to start sleeping in it right away. I am shocked at how small he looks even in a full size bed. Here's hoping this will be a smooth transition!

Christ Lutheran Church Easter Egg Hunt

Bryce had so much fun, and even found a dollar bill in one of his eggs. He got smart after just a few eggs and started opening them to see what was inside before he put them in his basket.

There were so many eggs he decided to be choosy, of course still listening to mommy and daddy when we saw he found some candy we liked!

It's a...

...boy! In case you couldn't tell! :) Sure wasn't what we were expecting but he's healthy and we're thrilled. Now we're working on getting Bryson to adjust since he's been calling the baby a girl from day one!
This lovely money shot was the result of me asking the doctor, 'Are you sure it's a boy?' Apparently the answer is yes.

This shot is a little creepy but when you know what you're looking at it's pretty neat!

Baby is measuring 13 oz. and as healthy as can be!

The Bump

Quite a few friends that haven't seen me have asked to see a bump picture. Despite my reluctance I figured it would be better to post is here rather than all over facebook!
