Rough day...

Apparently someone had a rough day. Here he is chillin' on the couch watching TV, his favorite past-time.

Learning more everyday!

Today Bryson showed me one more time that he's growing up so fast. Bryson can now put his shoes on all by himself. Add this to the dressing and undressing, being fully potty trained (night time too! wahoo!), and the soon to be transition to the big boy bed.... I guess I'll have to stop calling him my baby pretty soon!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Here's a picture of our new little one due August 13th. This was taken at 11 weeks. We will most likely not have another ultrasound until March 26th. We will also hopefully find out if we need to take out a loan (if it's going to be a girl) or not! :)

Bryson has officially named the baby 'Cookie' and refers to it as both 'he' and 'she'. He has lots of amusing questions that are causing Nate and I to get very creative with our answers. He seems to be pretty excited and knows that Cookie won't come out until after his birthday... but we're certain he doesn't quite understand how long that is!

After stalling as long as we could :) we finally set up Bryson's new drum set... thanks Uncle Jordan. It seems as though we have a natural on our hands... a very LOUD natural!

Snow Day

We had a snow day!! With 6-12 inches predicted for the day, I took off work. Nate made it as far as the highway and turned around and came home as well. After 'working' at home all day, Bryson finally convinced Nate to go outside with him. Once out in the snow Bryson proclaimed "Look Daddy, xue!" (Chinese for snow.) Apparently someone has been paying attention to his favorite show, Ni Hao Kai-lan.

Bryce helped Nate clean off the rest of the driveway and attempted to make snow angels. When he came in his little face was SO red! I had to take a picture of him sitting on the vent warming up and thawing out!

Visiting with Aubrey

Bryson was SO excited to see Aubrey today! Stephanie and Aubrey came to visit along with my teacher friends from school. The two kiddos had a GREAT time!

Wurkin'

Bryson was VERY excited by his present from Uncle Matthew, Aunt Susan and cousin Owen.... his very own set of Black and Decker tools, which he of course made me open right away so he could get to "wurk". He also showed off his super cool PUMA warm-up from Uncle Josh and Auntie Anna!

Nana, Papa and Uncle Benno

Bryson was very excited to see his Nana, Papa and Uncle Benno the day after Christmas. Not surprisingly he took to Uncle Benno super fast, immediately asking if he wanted to play and sharing pretzels! We had a great visit and look forward to the next time!

Christmas Eve

We had a wonderful time at my parents for Christmas Eve. Bryson gave us a glimpse of what was to come on Christmas day by wanting to open EVERYONE's presents, not just his! He also enjoyed spending time with Auntie Lynda!
