We had a wonderful time at my parents for Christmas Eve. Bryson gave us a glimpse of what was to come on Christmas day by wanting to open EVERYONE's presents, not just his! He also enjoyed spending time with Auntie Lynda!
Nate and our friend Johnny have birthdays that are a day apart, so being the great wives that we are, Heather (John's wife) and I decided to throw a party for the two boys! It was a BLAST, to say the very least! Bryson joined us for the first half and had a great time playing with everyone! Decorating the tree has been Bryson's favorite thing to do this year as we get ready for Christmas. It was very funny to see ONE branch of the whole Christmas tree decorated! I left it like that for a week because it made me smile! Check out ou lights outside! I'm so proud! Nate did a great job... and Justin too! ;)
Bryson's school invited us to come for cookies and a craft. The BIG surprise was that Santa came as well! This was Bryson's first experience meeting Santa. He was acting like a huge ham the whole time we were singing but as soon as Santa came in he clammed up a bit. Thankfully, Santa was giving out suckers, which was the ONLY reason Bryce got anywhere near him. Didn't really sit still long enough for a great picture, but you get the idea! Below is a picture of Bryson and his buddy Brady and Brady's sister.

Bryson was hamming it up after we got back from a lovely Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma and Papa's. I wanted a cute picture of his outfit and this is what I got instead! :)
So sorry to have not updated in so long...but as you can imagine, a 2 year-old consumes quite a bit of time!! I'll be 'back posting' for a few days until we catch up! Enjoy!
...Dr. Bryson that is! Bryson was a doctor for Halloween this year. He couldn't wait to "trich or chreat" and give all the kids band-aids! After celebrating early at school on Thursday, he enjoyed collecting candy at 'grandma and papa airplanes' house and in our neighborhood with Michael and Aanya. Afterwards we had a big bash at our house which was tons of fun!
This weekend we were lucky enough to have Stephanie, Chet, Aubrey, John and Heather join us in Michigan. We visited the Jollay Apple Orchard and our family tradition, Gene the Pumpkin man. Everyone had a great time and we look forward to making this a yearly tradition!
I can't believe I'm saying this but today we sent our little guy off to school! That's right, school!! Bryson now attends pre- pre-school at Sandbox Pre-School, the same school that Joshua, Jordan and I all attened. Bryson's teacher is Ms. Jen and he has 4 other kids in his class; Colton, Brady, Teagan and the lone girl Grace! We can't wait to see how this goes!!
